Visit of José Boggiano Perichi, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus

On February 18 the Center of Latin American researches was visited by José Boggiano Perichchi, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus, Maria Antonija Kabesa, the counsellor of the Embassy, and Gerardo Estrada, the first secretary of the Embassy. The main objective of the visit was discussion of the plan of further cooperation of the Embassy and the Center of Latin American researches.

Natalia Popok, the head of the Center and the dean of Faculty of international business communications,told about the main areas of work of the Center.

Mr.Boggiano Perichchi emphasized that Venezuelan side is interested in further cooperation with the Center of Latin American researches. In this regard the representatives of the Embassy of Venezuela suggested organizing a course of lectures about modern political and economic situation in Venezuela, history of formation of the state, participation of Venezuela in integration processes in the region of Latin America. Also the representatives of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed readiness to assist professors and students in providing required materials for writing of theses.

In the opinion of the participants of the meeting these actions will promote friendly relations between the countries.
