30.06.2015

On June 26, 2015Pablo AnselmoTettamanti, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic, and FrantsiskoTropepi, First Secretary of the Embassy, visited BSEU during their visit to Minsk. The guests from Argentina were welcomed by G.P. Matetsky, vice rector, and N.V. Popok, the dean of Faculty of international business communications. During the meeting the prospects of further cooperation between the university and the Embassy of Argentina were discussed.
During the discussion G. P. Matetsky told about the university, post-graduate studies in BSEU, and Russian and Belarusian language courses organized for Argentinians.
In his turn, Mr.Tettamanti informed that he is the Ambassador of Argentina in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan (with  residence in Moscow). Also he told about integration processes in Latin America, political and economic situation in Argentina. The Ambassador expressed his opinion on existence of prejudices in relation to Latin America that are not actually  true and hinder development of the relations with other countries. Argentina is the country of immigrants considerable part of whom is constituted by natives of Slavic people and Russian diaspora in Argentina. Belarusians take the third place among the others. Pablo AnselmoTettamanti assumed that cooperation in education will be interesting to Argentineans in view of the fact that receipt of post-graduate education in Argentina is performed on a paid basis, and the prices in Belarus are much lower than in Russia.

After that the guests visited the Center of Latin American researches where they continued the discussion with students and professors of BSEU. The representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina expressed an interest in further multidimensional cooperation both with the university and with the Center and answered all questions of  the students.
